Mineral foundations have become hugely popular in the past five or so years, due in part to the eco/green/organic craze. Mineral foundations have been marketed as "chemical-free" and "natural", but as I have said many times before, every substance is a chemical, and the mineral foundations can certainly contain synthetic (man-made) ingredients along with the naturally occurring ones.
