CoverGirl (also sold at local drugstores and bargain beauty retailers such as Harmon in Westwood Plaza) is jumping aboard the limited edition cosmetic collection trend with its new CoverGirl Clean limited edition press powder compacts, available now until supplies last. To celebrate the brand's golden anniversary, the compacts are adorned with African-inspired prints. Through CoverGirl’s partnership with Children’s Safe Drinking Water, each limited edition Clean compact purchased provides a week’s worth of clean drinking water for a child in Africa, for a donation of up to $50,000, according to the company.
Another big launch at CoverGirl is Lip Perfection Lipstick. A Silk Therapy Complex is said to help improve lip condition. It includes an olive oil derived emollient; white tea, leveraged from Olay, an ingredient popular in anti-aging cosmetics; a Butters Complex made from shea, avocado and aloe; and silk protein, derived from pure silk to help soften lips. The collection features a variety of shades—44 to be exact.

Here’s just a real quick look using some of the Fabulous Felines products! :) Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday… while I sit here on break from class, LOL. I don’t really recommend using the Superslick liners on the lower lash line — even when I used a separate brush (must!), it seemed to look less smooth there — I think it just dried around the individual lashes and didn’t work out. But I’ll try it again over the next week and see if I can get it working better next time.
